About us

Fleshrot - Traumatic Reconfiguration

If you only hear the name of the group you must guess what they play. Death, the most brutal death metal. Otherwise the group is very famous in his country (England), there are rumors that they are especially good at playing live. Is it so we can only speculate. Traumatic Reconfiguration album is a mix of brutal death, for which I is mentioned amazingly techical. It is interesting how most songs begin slow and frustrating, and suddenly changed direction to totally articulated bones and torn skin death metal. I have some doubts and wonder whether they used drum machine because their drummer is really good. Or is it very good in smacking of drums, or after each rehearsal leaves a muscle strain in the limbs.

Empyreon - Beyond Perception

Not only that the bands's genre is heavy metal, but is experimental. The band from New York most blatantly lied in his biography. Empyreon is PURE melodic death metal with keyboards who made their sound more rich, which are played by guitarist / keyboardist Mike Khalilov. Fresh group for the passing summer. My only criticism is addressed to the singer whose vocals are quite monotonous. And the last song Beyon Perception? Recognize something?

Advent Fog - The Destruction Of Centuries Old Doctrines

Moldovanian black metal band Advent Fog released a great black metal album - The Destruction Of Centuries Old Doctrines. From the beginning I felt that comes antichristian invasion and after a brief intro to Feeling The Pain with light church grounds begins mid-temp melodic black metal with keyboards forward alleging that accentuated the dark atmosphere. The second song is pretty obvious that has influences from Dimmu Borgir and in particular their album Spiritual Black Dimensions, even the whole band sounds like a black bear cuticle of 93-94 years. Personally I do not interfere with keyboards on the album, but the seats are quite irritating and repetitive. It is interesting to hear and "different" song on the album - instrumental, watery, soft and melodic Affectus in Victoria, obviously dedicated to a girl. It is rare for such an unknown band for me to grab me on first listening, but here it happened. Advent Fog - Moldovanian Dimmu Borgir.

Crematory Interview [August 2010]

Congratulations for your new album. It is very powerful and keeps the
spirit of metal. Do you agree with me?

Thanks for the compliment!
Of course I agree. It is the best album we have ever recorded. We have put all our energy and creativity into it and the result ist pure CREMATORY.

Tell us more about the recording process, any interesting stories?
The target settings were harder, louder faster and darker. That’s what we planned and finally did. I think the most interesting story is that we didn’t have any argues or problems while we have recorded the album. The reason for this might be that we have worked in the same lineup as we did in our previous albums PRAY and KLAGEBILDER. That makes it easy to work together without the need of many words.

Do you "take notes" from bad reviews in the press?

Bad reviews? What’s that? Tell me one review that has been bad.
If there is one We don’t care about because we have success with what we are doing and that’s what counts. Our fans love what we are doing and do not care about critics. At this point we need to thank our fans for their support. They are the best fans of the world!!!

Can you describe with some words the tracks in the album?
There are to many themes to explain all the lyrics. I can tell you that the are typical catchy songs, as well as harder songs in German and English. Just listen to it and you will love it!

What do you think about the new "core-wave" - metalcore, hardcore,
emocore? Is the traditional metal dethroned?

I don’t think so. Each genre has its authority to exist. We do not judge any genre. As long as people like it and buy the CDs everything is fine.

What is the most important lesson, that you've learned over the years?
That you should stay true. If you change your being and loose the contact to the base, earlier or later you will fall and loose everything you have reached. We have never lost our roots because we have learned this lessen with the faults of other musicians.

"A Story About" what?
About you and your life. Just look inside of you and you’ll understand.

How you've managed to keep the Crematory alive in all these years and
still going up and true to it's self?

Funny question. I don’t know. Maybe because we have never lost our roots and have kept the contact to our first fans? Or maybe because we do not do what we do just to earn as much money as possible? Who knows.

"Where are you now"?
Sitting in my office answering your questions and waiting for the dinner with my wife and children.

Thank you for the interview, any last words to the fans in Bulgaria?
We hope to see you all on our concerts. As our tours are still being planned we don’t know where we will be in the next two years. But check our website frequently to be up-to-date.
